Professor Cholawish Chanlalit, M.D.

Assoc. Prof. Cholawish Chanlalit, M.D., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. Dr. Cholawish further advanced his expertise through fellowships in orthopedic trauma in Germany, cartilage research in Sweden, and elbow and shoulder biomechanics at the Mayo Clinic, USA. He is a member of the Mayo Elbows Club and several international orthopedic societies, including APKASS and APOA. He currently serves as the elected President of the APOA Hand & Upper Limb Society. He is also a sports Orthopedics consultant for Academy Bangkok Glass Football club.

With more than 25 years of experience, Dr. Cholawish has performed numerous complex joint surgeries, including arthroscopic procedures for ligament reconstruction and cartilage repair. His innovative techniques, such as lower trapezius transfer for rotator cuff repair, have been recognized internationally. Dr. Cholawish regularly presents his work at global conferences and has contributed to advancements in elbow and shoulder arthroscopy through research and publications.
