Samitivej Public Company Limited won 1st Runner-Up Award of UN Women 2022 Thailand Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) Awards in Gender-Inclusive Workplace category, which recognizes the achievements of businesses actively taking action to empower women and promotes gender equality.  The Award Ceremony was hosted by UN Women's WeEmpowerAsia programme on 4 November 2022 at Centara Grand at CentralWorld, Bangkok. 

Established by UN Global Compact and UN Women, WEPs are a set of Principles offering guidance to business on how to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment in the workplace, marketplace and community.  Samitivej has joined Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) community since July 2022 as the hospital realizes the importance of female employees as the driving forces to organization’s success. Samitivej implements guidelines to ensure all employees treat others with full respect and equality, regardless of their gender, nationality, education or beliefs, in order to maintain a culture of value as according to the company’s vision of  “Agile Organization of Value.”
