Receiving the Moderna Vaccine at Samitivej Sukhumvit and Samitivej Srinakarin Hospitals

Appointment postponement

Once a vaccine recipient has received their Moderna vaccination appointment via SMS, if they are not available on the date and time, please notify your HR Department and the hospital will do its best to arrange a new date. 

Things to know before getting vaccinated

  • In cases of allergic reaction or abnormal symptoms after injection, the Government Pharmaceutical Organization (GPO) has insured anyone receiving a Moderna vaccination from a private hospital with the following coverage:  
    • Vaccination with Moderna causes side effects leading to coma or death: compensation of 1,000,000 baht. 
    • Vaccination with Moderna causes side effects leading to disability: compensation of 500,000 baht. 
    • Vaccination with Moderna causes severe side effects leading to hospitalization for treatment: compensation of 100,000 baht. 

    GPO insurance will cover the first and second doses, including booster doses. Coverage will last 90 days from the date of vaccination.

Vaccination steps on the day of your appointment

  • Samitivej Sukhumvit  
    1. ​​​​​Bring your passport to your appointment 
    2. Register for your vaccination at Service Points 1-2, Building 1, 2nd floor 
    3. Receive your vaccination at Service Points 3-7 at Bancha Lamsam Auditorium, Building 2, 6th floor 

Note: Service Points 1-2 will be moving to Bancha Lamsam Auditorium, Building 2, 6th floor on January 6, 2022. 

  • Samitivej Srinakarin  
    1. Bring your passport to your appointment 
    2. Register and receive your vaccination on the 4th floor
