Allergies are caused by the body producing a negative physical reaction to certain substances in a way that is different from the average person. There are many different types of allergens (substances that cause allergic reactions), including food allergens (dairy, eggs, seafood, nuts, etc.), dust mites, grass pollen, mold and cockroaches.
The most basic treatment step for allergies is to avoid the allergens. If symptoms still do not improve, consult a pediatric specialist in order to examine and diagnose the problem properly and determine an appropriate treatment plan. Early identification of your child’s allergies will improve your child’s quality of life.
In the case of severe or serious symptoms, a doctor should be consulted immediately.
