Surangkana Techapaitoon, M.D., Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Samitivej and BNH Hospitals and Director of Samitivej International Children’s Hospital; Professor Emeritus Chanika Tuchinda, M.D., Executive Advisor at Samitivej International Children’s Hospital; Somsiri Sakolsatayadorn, M.D., Senior Advisor to the Managing Director of Samitivej Public Company Limited, Chairperson of the National Strategic Breastfeeding Committee and Board Member of the Thailand Breastfeeding Center Foundation; and Hathaitip Chaiprapa, M.D., Hospital Executive Assistant and Neonatologist at Samitivej International Children’s Hospital, along with a team of doctors and nurses, took part in the World Breastfeeding Week 2025 celebration under the theme “Prioritize Breastfeeding: Create Sustainable Support Systems”

The event honored mothers, doctors, pediatricians and staff members who have been committed to 100% exclusive breastfeeding for a period of 6 months to 2 years. The recognition aimed to celebrate their dedication and inspire role models for Thai society with fun and educational activities for children and families. The event took place on August 9, 2025 at Samitivej International Children’s Hospital.
