Photos from the International Academic Conference on “Nutrition and Hormones for Optimal Pregnancy Outcome & A New Era of Luteal Phase Support and Management,” organized by PREIS School working in collaboration with Besins Healthcare (Asia Region) and Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital. The opening ceremony was presided over by Nithiwat Gijsriurai, M.D., Director of Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital, Prof. Gian Carlo Di Renzo M.D., PH.D. FRCOG (Hons), FACOG (Hons) Director of PREIS school, and Mr. Sirapop Junhamaan, Head of Asia Region at Besins Healthcare.

More than 14 well-known obstetricians gave lecture at this academic conference, including Thailand’s own Assoc. Prof. Boonsri Chanrachakul, M.D., PhD,MSc (Medical genetic), Head of the Maternal and Fetal Medicine Department, Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital. Dr. Boonsri talked about Samitivej’s success for preterm prevention (5.02% preterm birth rate in 2021 compared with the national preterm birth rate of 12%). The conference was an opportunity for all in attendance to share their substantial knowledge and expertise of the most interesting and beneficial technologies available today. These technologies and innovations will be at the vanguard of Maternal Fetal Medicine, used to prevent premature birth and to ensure that the utmost in fetal safety can be achieved. The conference was held at Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital on May 29–30, 2022, from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm each day.
