Samitivej Public Company Limited was awarded the The “Outstanding” Sustainability Model Organization Award 2022 in the Thai Capital Market for Contributions to the Disabled by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for its contributions to people with disabilities. The award ceremony was held at the Grand Ballroom, Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok on November 21, 2022.

Since 2017, Samitivej has supported and encouraged the employment of people with disabilities in compliance with Section 35 of the Persons with Disabilities Empowerment Act B.E. 2550. This support Therapeuticreflects the company’s commitment to empowering the disabled, respecting equality and treating people as equals. The company currently employs 26 individuals with disabilities in the following functional divisions:
  • Therapeutic massage: 9 individuals
  • Musicians (performing in hospitals and teaching in disabled school/foundation): 15 individuals
  • Volunteers in Subdistrict Health Promotion Hospital: 2 individuals
