Marking 14 years of the Samitivej's 'New Life Fund', Samitivej Children’s Hospital continues to receive
donations from Thai Life Insurance for the 7th consecutive year, supporting surgeries for children affected by congenital heart disease.

Surangkana Techapaitoon, M.D., Director of Samitivej Children’s Hospital and President of the Samitivej’s New Life Fund, Professor Emeritus Chanika Tuchinda, M.D., Executive Advisor at Samitivej Children’s Hospital and Honorary Advisor for the Samitivej’s New Life Fund, and Nattipat Juthacharoenwong, M.D., Head of the Pediatric Department at Samitivej Children’s Hospital, were on hand to receive a donation for 2023 of 1,800,000 THB from Mr. Chai Chaiyawan, Director & Chief Executive Officer of Thai Life Insurance Public Co., Ltd. and Vice Chairman of the One For Lives Foundation, along with a team of administrators from the One For Lives Foundation. The donation is for Samitivej's 'New Life Fund', which helps underprivileged children born with congenital heart defects to have a new lease on life through surgery.
