Who is this screening suitable for?

Testing process

  1. Preparation for the test:
    • Avoid grilled foods, vegetables high in nitrates such as spinach, lettuce, kale, Chinese cabbage, morning glory, beetroot, radish, carrot, and potato, as well as tea, coffee and alcohol, for at least 1–2 hours
    • Do not smoke for at least 2 hours
    • Avoid strenuous exercise before the test
    • If you have a cold or a respiratory tract infection, inform the doctor
  2. Test procedure takes approximately 1 minute, as follows:
    • Exhale completely
    • Seal lips tightly around the mouthpiece
    • Inhale deeply until the lungs are full
    • Exhale slowly and steadily for about 10 seconds
