Preventing Illness Before It Happens

Vaccination is a simple procedure that can save lives, reduce healthcare costs and avoid significant pain or discomfort. A vaccine works by stimulating the body to produce antibodies and develop an immunity to a particular strain of virus. By choosing to vaccinate yourself or your children, you are choosing not only to help yourself, but also to avoid infecting other people close to you.

The Vaccination and Travel Medicine Center aims to educate patients about disease prevention and immunization. If you are preparing to travel to a different region of the world, it is important to be aware that there may be different endemic diseases to which you will have no pre-existing resistance. We provide consultation and vaccination services for Thai, expatriate and international travelers. We will discuss with you what health preparations are necessary and what precautions are advisable before embarking on a trip. We provide treatment and vaccination services for tuberculosis, malaria, hepatitis B, rabies and other illnesses.

As a part of the JCI-accredited Samitivej Hospital, the clinic maintains unimpeachable standards of hygiene, always uses advanced, state-of-the-art equipment and employs a highly trained team of certified physicians and nurses to protect you against infection.
