Samitivej and Origin join hands to create Wellness Residences

providing at-home health services and privileges for sustainable well-being

Origin Property is creating a new phenomenon in the real estate industry, cooperating with Samitivej to strengthen its residential projects by developing a new generation of Wellness Residences. This new concept transforms common areas of luxury condominium complexes, such as KnightsBridge Space Rama 4, SOHO Bangkok Ratchada, and Park Origin Phrom Phong, to include Smart Life Centers—wellness facilities that meet the needs of health-conscious residents in the key areas of treatment, prevention, and beauty and anti-aging, and provide health privileges to residents with the goal of excellent quality of life.

This is in line with Samitivej’s concept that we want people to stay healthy and not fall ill, and it meets the well-being needs of consumers within the Wellness Residence format. All of this is achieved through the services and facilities located in common areas of the residences, the use of medical technology, and the organization of healthcare training courses. This allows consumers to better care for their health—in the areas of treatment, prevention, beauty and anti-aging—by providing greater access to medical treatment and facilities.

Peerapong Jaroon-Ek, Chief Executive Officer of Origin Property PCL (ORI), integrated real estate and property developer, revealed that the company had already enjoyed a successful collaboration with comprehensive healthcare provider Samitivej Hospital that enabled them to connect residents with the “Samitivej Virtual Hospital” service, which allows them to consult with doctors online via the “Origin Connect” application. The company and Samitivej Hospital have raised their level of cooperation in order to create a new phenomenon in the industry—the development of “Wellness Residences.” These projects have been implemented to create greater well-being, enhance overall health, and improve overall quality of life for residents of more than 20,000 families who live in the housing and condominium projects of the Origin group.

“Society has now completely entered the era of the “New Normal.” Daily living habits have changed and people are increasingly interested in healthcare and public health. In our search for channels for the development of Wellness Residences, we decided to collaborate with a strong healthcare partner that has a vision for well-being consistent with ours, and with branches covering the Origin network areas. Samitivej fits this bill perfectly with locations in Bangkok, Chonburi, and Sriracha. Together we are promoting convenience and safety in accessing healthcare services by removing risks related to traveling to outside facilities, while creating healthier physical, mental, cognitive, and spiritual lifestyles for consumers to meet the needs of this “New Normal” era,” said Peerapong.

Origin has transformed parts of the common areas in its residential projects into Wellness Facilities, with the aim of providing services that cater to good health and meet healthcare needs in 3 key areas: 1. treatment—including initial health consultations; 2. prevention—including a swimming pool, fitness center, oxygen lounge, salt room, trail walking, pilates, yoga, and boxing; and 3. beauty and anti-aging—including vitamin therapy and a private massage room. At the same time, Samitivej will help create Smart Life Centers to complement these health services. The pilot project will begin in luxury condominium projects under the Park Luxury Group, including KnightsBridge Space Rama 4, SOHO Bangkok Ratchada, and completed projects such as Park Origin Phrom Phong. The common area of the Park Origin Phrom Phong has already been renovated and the first Smart Life Center will be opened in 2021.

In addition, residents of all projects within the Park Luxury Group will receive an ORIGIN Samitivej Club card and will be eligible for special discounts when using services at Samitivej Sukhumvit and Samitivej Srinakarin Hospitals. Samitivej Virtual Hospital services can be accessed via the Origin Connect application. The innovative TytoCare health examination kit, and healthcare courses led by speakers from Samitivej, will also be available within the projects.

At the same time, additional facilities and privileges have been developed to provide residents with easier access to health services. For example, housing estates in the Britania Group provide FitLAB services for residents who are exercise enthusiasts and for elderly residents who wish to exercise. This initiative provides people with more opportunities to exercise, ensures they exercise correctly based on their individual body type, and offers treatment for exercise injuries. The project will start at the BELGRAVIA Exclusive Pool Villa Bangna - Rama 9 project, a brand new luxury housing estate project that has just been launched.
