Surangkana Techapaitoon, M.D., Deputy CEO of Samitivej and BNH Hospitals and Director of Samitivej Children’s Hospital, and Ms. Marisa Na Nakorn, Human Resources Director at Samitivej PCL., on behalf of Samitivej Public Company Limited, signed a memorandum of understanding with Prof. Dr. Bussakorn Binson, Dean of the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pornprapit Phoasavadi, Deputy Dean for International Affairs at the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, on behalf of Chulalongkorn University. The collaboration is part of the Higher Education for Industry (Hi-FI) project aimed at helping organizations enhance their competitiveness and adapt to new technologies in order to address the shortage of skilled and knowledgeable workers with specific expertise and competencies. This collaboration will develop personnel, benefiting the continued growth of the organization. As part of this collaboration, a scholarship has been granted to Ms. Lalida Therakomen, a psychologist, to pursue a Master of Arts in Expressive Arts Therapy at Chulalongkorn University. This will bring valuable knowledge of art therapy to aid in patient rehabilitation, addressing emotional well-being, intellectual development, concentration, communication stimulation, and enhancing social skills. The event took place on July 27, 2023, at Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital.
