This award, part of the “Enabling Breastfeeding: Making a Difference for Working Parents” initiative, was dedicated to all the mothers, doctors, pediatricians, and Samitivej staff who are committed to providing 100% breastfeeding support for babies aged 6 months to 2 years. The event included fun activities, crawling competitions for children, and a host of exciting prizes. The event took place on August 6, 2023, at Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital.

For many years, Samitivej Hospital has had a 'Bottle-free Policy' in the hospital. We provide specialist support to promote breastfeeding during postpartum recovery in the hospital and upon returning home. A lactation clinic also offers support services for all mothers to nurture their infants successfully with breast milk. Additionally, the hospital has been recognized by the World Health Organization, UNICEF, and the Ministry of Public Health as the first private hospital to receive the Mother-Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative award (2001).
