Consultation fee is 500 baht per 15 minutes. Those using this service will receive 20% discount on medications. Users purchasing medication through Samitivej Virtual Hospital will receive a special 20% discount. prices of medications are not the same as when purchasing at Samitivej Hospitals.

We have a same-day delivery service for medication that is delivered by LINE MAN, and a next-day delivery service provided by SCG Express. Both companies will transport orders in sealed bags or sealed boxes to ensure utmost safety of the contents, as well as to protect user privacy. Moreover, medicines that require careful temperature management will be transported in a temperature-controlled environment, using the latest technology on offer from SCG Express.

An extensive range of services is on offer, including consultation with specialist doctors, home delivery of medication or home visits to take blood samples, thereby ensuring the utmost comfort and convenience for the users of Samitivej Virtual Hospital.

 

A: You are able to use Samitivej Virtual Hospital services anywhere in the world. All you need is an Internet connection for your mobile phone or tablet device.

 

A: Foreign travellers and fly-in visitors are also able to use Samitivej Virtual Hospital services.

You register by entering your personal details, including first name, surname, date of birth, national ID card / passport number and gender. Alternatively, for users accessing the service through Samitivej Plus app, Samitivej Virtual Hospital services will be immediately available to them.

 

A: There are currently no laws prohibiting the provision of telemedicine services, nor are there any laws yet that specifically apply to the industry. Therefore, our provision of telemedicine services will operate under the laws to which in-person medical care currently adhere. Moreover, Samitivej Hospital is fully aware of the importance regarding each of the following areas: doctors’ standards of care with regard to patient consultations, IT security, personal data, privacy, informed consent for telemedicine, medical professional liability insurance and patient insurance claims. A: Samitivej always places patient safety at the forefront of our priorities. The services offered through Samitivej Virtual Hospital will be provided in accordance with hospital level standards of care, delivered by our team of specialists and professional nurses in order to ensure the utmost safety for Samitivej Hospital customers.

 

A: Samitivej holds patient data confidentiality in the highest regard, meaning that all Samitivej Hospitals work in accordance with internationally recognized data safety standards. Hence, once a patient has successfully registered to use the services, they will be asked to set a PIN code to confirm their identity each time they log in to use Samitivej Virtual Hospital services. Patients should therefore take great care to keep their PIN code private.

 

A: You are able to set a new PIN code by selecting “Settings” from the menu -> select “Personal information” -> select “Change PIN code” -> select “Forgot PIN code?”, and the system will send a new PIN code to the email address you registered with.

Therefore, patients wishing to use Samitivej Virtual Hospital are first required to register their first name, surname, gender, date of birth, and national ID card or passport number to confirm their identity, as well as setting up a PIN code. Additionally, every time you wish to access personal medical information, you will be required to enter your PIN code. Nevertheless, even though Samitivej Virtual Hospital applies the highest levels of safety, you are also advised to take great care to keep your personal information safe, including your password, PIN code and all other personal information, each and every time you enter the Samitivej Virtual Hospital via your mobile phone or tablet device.

A: Mr. John has a headache, nasal discharge and coughing. He wants to use Samitivej Virtual Hospital service. First, he logs in to Samitivej Virtual Hospital system through Samitivej Plus application and verifies his information.

After that, John will see the nurse who will retrieve his medical history and screen him for health problems that are suitable for this program and must not be emergency cases.
After the screening process, John will then see the doctor who will provide health consultation based on the presented signs and symptoms. After the consultation, John can have medication prescribed by the doctor delivered to his home, or even make use of the blood sampling service at home.
