Dr. Sukrit Sorotpinya, M.D.

Sukrit Sorotpinya, M.D., is a board-certified interventional radiologist with certifications in Body Interventional Radiology and Interventional Oncology. He earned his medical degree with second-class honors from Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University. He has participated in international training programs in South Korea, China, Greece, Hong Kong and Denmark. Dr. Sukrit is a member of the Royal College of Radiologists of Thailand, Interventional Radiology of Thailand, and the Asia Pacific Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology.

With more than 10 years of experience, Dr. Sukrit has performed a wide range of advanced image-guided procedures for both malignant and benign conditions. He has served as a national and international guest speaker and academic course organizer. His research on tumor ablation and vascular intervention has contributed to safer and more effective techniques in interventional radiology.

His expertise includes:

• Non-surgical cancer treatment using thermal ablation techniques such as Cryoablation, Microwave Ablation, Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA), and Irreversible Electroporation (IRE), as well as targeted Transarterial Chemoembolization (cTACE/DEB-TACE)
• Minimally invasive embolization for osteoarthritis of the knee (Genicular Artery Embolization: GAE)
• Minimally invasive embolization for benign prostatic hyperplasia (Prostatic Artery Embolization: PAE)
• Non-surgical treatment for large thyroid nodules using Microwave Ablation or Sclerosing Therapy
