Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital and Samitivej Children’s Hospital Strengthen Breastfeeding Community by Organizing World Breastfeeding Week 2024 Event
"Closing the Gap: Breastfeeding Support for All"

Surangkana Techapaitoon, M.D., Deputy CEO of Samitivej and BNH Hospitals and Director of Samitivej Children’s Hospital, Professor Emeritus Chanika Tuchinda, M.D., Executive Advisor at Samitivej Children’s Hospital, and Saran Intakul, M.D., Deputy Director of Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital, along with the neonatologist team, joined together in honoring World Breastfeeding Week 2024 by presenting the Exclusive Breastfeeding award. Under the theme "Closing the Gap: Breastfeeding Support for All," the award is presented to mothers, doctors, pediatricians and Samitivej staff who are dedicated to 100% breastfeeding for children aged 6 months to 2 years. The event, held on August 3, 2024 at Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital, featured a performance by Da Endorphine - a mother herself - along with fun activities for children and many prizes.
