Building Inspection Report Following the March 28 Earthquake

Following the earthquake that occurred on Friday, March 28, 2025, Samitivej Hospitals prioritized the safety of all patients, medical staff, and  personnel  by conducting a comprehensive structural inspection of all hospital buildings.

The inspections were carried out jointly by the hospital’s executive team, a team of in-house engineers, and a team of distinguished external engineers. The results confirm that Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital, Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital and Samitivej International Children’s Hospital are structurally sound and safe. Minor surface cracks were identified on some walls due to the natural movement of the buildings during the quake, but these do not compromise the structural integrity of the facilities.

All Samitivej Hospital buildings are designed in accordance with earthquake-resistant construction standards, providing the structural safety.
